Jon Bon Jovi è uno dei cantanti che ha accompagnato la mia adolescenza, ho molto amato tutte le sue canzoni degli anni '90. Questa è probabilmente la mia preferita, anche più di "Always", mi ricorda il secondo anno delle superiori, un anno bello in cui l'ascoltavo sempre (anche se era dell'anno prima).
Il testo e il video sono abbastanza drammatici (uno dei personaggi ha perso il posto di lavoro, riducendosi a vivere in auto, e l'altra è una ragazza di 16 anni abusata dal patrigno e caduta nel tunnel della prostituzione) ma se non ricordo male alla fine contengono anche un'accenno di speranza, che è anche il significato del titolo.
